[Good Deal]The JR EAST PASS (Tohoku area)  The JR EAST PASS (Tohoku area) offers unlimited train travel on all JR East lines (including high-speed shinkansen trains and limited express trains) and rides on selected local JR buses in the Kanto and Tohoku regions.

With it, you can travel from Tokyo all the way to Sendai, Yamagata, Akita, Morioka and Aomori, including on some non-JR lines like the Tokyo Monorail from Haneda Airport. The pass (¥19,350) is valid for any 5 days of your choice within a 14-day period.
